Review / Logitech MX Keys

I don’t really see the theme unless it is to larger keyboards? I love my Anne Pro 2, but it was a custom build with silent lubed switches, and I rarely use it in BT mode. In general when at my desktop my keyboard is plugged in. Only when working remote do I use bluetooth and lately that is never.

I think I have moved the opposite way through keyboards into ortholinears and 40% boards. Those have some hard to remember combos(!), but that just takes some practice and the right mood to learn. Currently I’m back to a 65% Drop ALT with no layers and am really loving how simple and calming it is.

A single press of fn+esc and you have proper f-keys. (Or did I misunderstand your issue?)

I have trouble imagining how one’s wrists would go anywhere near the keyboard edge. The edge isn’t that wide or that high. My wrists float in the air at exactly the right hight due to the adjustment of my chair arms.

Logitech does sell an optional coordinating wrist rest for $20.

I have long fingers and really like full size keyboards for comfort and get frustrated with the half high FKey rows.

I have a “disposable” keyboard that I bought a while back. It is cheap and functional and was meant to absorb abuse from children. It has done its job and I was contemplating replacing it with a mechanical switch keyboard but here you are giving me recommendations for when you go away from mechanical keyboards.

On the other hand it sounds like a good replacement for my old Apple keyboard that I really like. The one I protected with the sacrificial keyboard and does not need replacing yet.

Chiclet keys? Too evil for me.
