I’ve been looking forward to Juliet, Naked for a few years now; I’m basic enough to really like Nick Hornby, and his novels tend to translate to screen quite successfully (yes, I’m That Guy who looooooved About A Boy and wouldn’t shut up about how awful the TV version became.) I also really like their vibe together - though it’s been so long since I read the book that I don’t quite remember how their relationship goes.

A goon bag (or goon sack) is more the silver bladder that comes in a box of wine than the wine (aka “goon”) itself.
