i’ll respect you in the morning.
i won’t cum in your mouth.
In Putin’s Russia, labor forces you!
I think we can look a little closer in time than the gulag era to find examples of horribly exploitative prison labour. Except this time it can be a shining example of private enterprise.
“It is ROBLAG. Totally different forced labour camp from bad old Communist GULAG.”
I take it that The Shirtless Wonder and his cronies are expecting a new influx of Navalnys in the coming years and want to discourage them. One can’t poison all of one’s opponents when their numbers grow large
There’s no better way to make someone who is wrongfully accused and incarcerated feel like they never want to go to prison again when they’re reincarnated.
You have to hand it to him, Putin puts other to shame with his traditionalism. International diplomacy, war, all of it. Give him time and he’ll be Tsar and restart serfdom.
The population of Russia is about 144 million people; around 483,000, or
0.0035%are currently incarcerated
0.35%
Still, that’s a lot of people who pissed off putin…
Mikhail Kalashnikov was not an arms dealer. He was a designer working in the state-owned Soviet arms industry.
Pinkie swear?
What’s America’s excuse for incarcerating 2.2 million then? It’s the largest prison population in the world.
Also, I imagine that some people are in jail in Russia for other reasons than pissing off Putin. Plus, he seems to like to bump people off rather than jail them.
My guess was offences like cutting him off in traffic…
and yeah, it was a joke.
America’s excuse is racism and an inability to decide whether prison is punishment, or rehabilitation.
Profit.
and that too
That is only partly true, as there is also racism and classism…
The population of the United States is 328 million, around 2.3 million people, or 0.7 % are incarcerated.
Training the newest generation of internet trolls…at gunpoint.
Also, at the risk of stating the obvious, it’s only really profitable for the prison-industrial complex. On taxpayers and GDP it’s a colossal drain, corporate welfare mixed with forced labor.
