This could be more than just snake oil for Russians. Putin’s claim could also be used (however nonsensically) by Trump as a “very soon all will be well” to affect the market and/or stupidly justify calls for opening up virus-friendly gathering places.

But the medical follow-ups to test for efficacy and side-effects might be a bit of a give-away…
Oh… wait… no, scratch that. They won’t be doing any of that pesky stuff, just infecting them with CV after surreptitiously injecting the vaccine, and then seeing if they die of CV or not.
