The GOP is Trump’s party, so unless a candidate has something to offer him, he’s not going to endorse a woman who’s not conventionally attractive. So if there’s a 30 something candidate who will be just as fawning as Palin, he may well endorse the younger woman.

Not that this should be the standard. “Warm body able to follow the orders of the party leadership” might work in a manual labour job,. but the ability to form opinions for oneself, to formulate solutions to problems instead of merely shouting "no!’ to whatever the adults want… that’s what the job actually requires.
