Satanic statue part of holiday decorations at Illinois Capitol

I have given all my likes to the Satanic Temple of Chicago. I have no more likes to give.

Looks a little like a kegerator, is Satan selling beer?

One small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind?

If this is what it takes, then I’m all in!

Satan’s cool,
Satan’s neat,
Satan runs on cloven feet!

Through the years we all will be together
If the Fates require
Violate your Fate and you’ll feel Satan’s fire
So hide your surly, barely-human Christmas ire

As an atheist, this sounds like a bunch of ex-christian woo woo.

Fun stunt though.

In addition to the Satanic Temples contribution there is another piece:

The rotunda for several years has had a sign from the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation that states, “Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”

I totally read that in the voice of Crow T. Robot.

Has always been true.

Hail Satan!

Jeez! that kind of definition takes all the fun out of depravity.

I believe the old saying is one small imp for a man, one giant Devil for all mankind.

“I can’t disagree with the statement in itself but when it’s coming from a satanic or a cult group, my response would be that everything about Satan is a lie.”

But that would mean … that this response is a lie, too?

Sure would beat that stingy thimbleful of wine the other folks are offering!

Entry into Hell for you will be easy, I predict.

Hail Santa!
