So, basically two higher quality kitchen knives, some shears, and an unnecessarily hand forged and serrated bread knife?
In my household, we have a number of hand forged kitchen knives (helps to be a hobbyist custom knife maker), an you know what we use as a bread knife?
A cheap POS old stainless bread knife with a scalloped blade because we really liked the old pearl bakelite-esque handle. Seriously. If you’re doing serrations/scalloped edge as a feature, the benefit of forging pretty much goes out the window.
But at least we get to see something that’s not fake-damascus or “now marked down to 99.99 from eleventy billion dollars!” on the BB store.
And roughly $100 ea is not bad for a handmade knife if the heat treat is good…
