My cats favorite toy was a rubber ducky. It was supposed to be for the kids in the bath but the cat just loved this thing so it became his.

Or you don’t need anything, my cat slept on my pillow from the day I brought him home as a kitten until he passed at age 16. Except when my daughter got a big girl bed, then he slept on her pillow sometimes.

Our kid got a little plush bear when she was tiny. It roars if you squeeze it. Old man cat would steal it. When we were culling toys for giving away, the kid said we had to keep that one because the cat liked it so much. She then ceremoniously gave it to the cat. 2 years on, and he still carries it around mrowing.
In fact, he is doing that right now
