Scott Adams, of "Dilbert" fame, threatens legal action over tweet mocking him

This makes sense to me, because I thought (back in the 70s when I was still reading comics in the newspaper…I haven’t seen Dilbert now in decades) that what you just said was the point: the strip was making fun of how the boss in an office situation was often out of touch and detrimental to a functional working environment. Sort of a cartoon equivalent of what later became “The Office”. But now we know that all along he was siding with the idiot, not the workers. As you say, he just got lucky in that people saw the opposite humor from what he intended.

Good Lord. Make it stop.

At least we now know why Dogbert resembles a sentient John Bolton.

Or, who is to art what sharting in a bathtub is to a jacuzzi.

Seriously, I’ve seen serial killer art that was less disturbing.

The best Jesus ever managed against Mark Spitz was a dead heat.

Between rich people with beach houses and fisherman villages saying that the sea is rising and showing where things eroded, beaches disappeared or things became closer to the sea I will trust the word of the people that deals daily with the sea.

Every time I read something about him or something he has written he becomes more and more repulsive.

I’m late to this party so I hope someone beat me to this, but if not…: Any reputable lawyer would tell Adams he has no case.

Isn’t his lawyer Ratbert?

Interesting thread from Hacker News from 2011 when Scott Adams admitted to being a sock puppeteer on Metafilter and Reddit.
