Ford never should’ve pardoned Nixon.
Congress already agreed that they’re A-OK with crimes. I think some big fraction of the voters (20%? 40%?) are fine with Representatives and Senators that approve of criminal behavior. As long as they can stick it to the Libs. White collar for white power is just gravy for them.
Certain progressives always feel abandoned once the nominee is chosen, because nobody is left-wing enough for them. The Black community on the other hand voted overwhelmingly for Biden out of a large field, so in terms of this election I really don’t see Biden thinking he doesn’t need their vote—he wouldn’t be around without their support.
I think that if he actually is forced to leave office - he’ll never go willingly, even if he loses by a landslide - he has Palm Beach in mind as the capital of the Second Confederate States of America.
Where is that Bugs Bunny frees Florida (or frees the rest of us from Florida) gif?
Trouble is (as usual with Dems) the likelihood of Biden thinking that vote can be taken for granted, rather than that he has to continue earning it.
