Now I’m wondering just how long SCOTUS has been pay-to-play and if any of the so-called liberal justices are in on it, or does the very obvious corruption lay solely with the so-called conservative justices?

Mom had a “Retire Reagan” T-shirt which was in the form of an acrostic–one of the scandals that intersected with RETIRE REAGAN was ANN GORSUCH who’s probably most famous now as Justice Gorsuch’s mother. She ran the EPA for a while, badly. Slate resurrects her scandal as a parallel
But Gorsuch, Thomas, and Chief Justice John Roberts have acted as if the need for checks and balances only applies to the other branches and to judges other than the justices of the high court.
There’s a remarkable historical irony here. In March 1983, Gorsuch’s mother, Anne Gorsuch Burford, was President Ronald Reagan’s administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Congress issued her a subpoena for documents as it investigated allegations that she had withheld funds from a Superfund cleanup site in California—an action she allegedly took to damage the reelection prospects of Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown.

Justice Samuel Alito would like everyone to know that in the wake of the Supreme Court revoking 50 years of abortion rights and then being plagued by corruption scandal after corruption scandal, our criticism of him and his institution is very much hurting his feelings.
What was that quaint phrase about feelings that GOP supporters like to use?
