Things like this illustrate why you always need a good director.
These people look so normal. i mean, somehow it makes me realize how much they filter the pool of humanity in most cases to only allow really good looking people (or specifically the types of good looking people the culture currently is into) in media. How in real life there is such a more diverse range of looks. This feels like a more realistic random selection of human types than we normally see and that is almost jarring.
Theory: these are all people from Gen Z who learned to time travel.

When Hollywood “normalizes” a Hollywood-form person for humorous or dramatic purposes, but the Hollywood look can’t be hidden, and the inability to hide it is part of the performance – I don’t think uncanny is the right word but it does say something about how wired we are for the semiotics of the flesh.
