if I go to a 20 person event on the Thursday, then go to a 10 person event on the Saturday, should I roll these twice to see if I end up with Covid?

That’s probably enough reason to skip out on the turkey this year. Take care of your health this year and don’t deliberately expose yourself to a higher risk of catching COVID-19. There’s always next year, and I guarantee they’ll still be mad so you won’t miss out on the conversation at least.
