As a child in the 1950’s I remember watching The adventures of Superman on our 9" RCA black and white TV. Being undiagnosed near sighted I could sit with my eyes only a few inches away and the show would fill my field of vision completely. By 1955 I had corrective lenses and had to sit back with the rest of the family eating TV dinners off of folding TV trays. For a few years George Reeves and I were very close.
