So, yes, horrible for the cows. I’m guessing that life for the sailors (who are not responsible for the cows being there, they just need work) had to be f’n horrific.

Depends on the type of feed. If it has growth hormones or antibiotics it really shouldn’t go in the ocean. It shouldn’t go in the cattle either, mind you.
