So, I guess people are going to poo-poo (ha!) this, but I take my mobile into the shower and bath with me. It’s sealed in a zip-lock bag and I read from the kindle app while I’m in there.
Ok, have at it!

I’m sure you all know that extended time on the toilet can cause hemorrhoids. Trust me, you don’t want them.
My Mom used to say this to me all the time. BUT WHERE IS THE SCIENCE?!
My poor arsehole and my surgeon who banded them.
Your avatar, I take it, is in recognition?
*literally laughing aloud
I’m so glad I randomly clicked on this thread.
I was just gonna drop my usual ‘this is unnecessary’ meme, and be on my way, but some of y’alls is silly a/f…
You’re not the first person to think that. It’s a symbol from a series of books I’m writing.
It’s weird where some folks’ minds go, and I say that as a gal whose mind vacations ‘in the gutter.’
I see an asterisk, which to me means “but wait, there’s more!”
This particular 6 pointed asterisk represents the magic of word. A single vertical line represents mind. While a horizontal line represents body. A circle is spirit. The asterisk includes the symbol for mind, but not body, while suggesting at spirit. There are 16 in total in the books.
Hey, what’s goin’ on?
It’s (probably at least somewhat) largely because of the asterisk that Kurt Vonnegut uses in “Breakfast of Champions” to represent an asshole. I’ve seen people use that particular asterisk avatar before. This asterisk is different in several ways but my brain still goes to that book.
I never got into Vonnegut, but that makes sense.
For me I’m a little more literal when it comes to my visualization:
And here’s my mind going immediately to Red Hot Chili Peppers.
