Well that’s neat and all, but why did my brain interpret the headline as saying that the article was about silencers for various things, including a method of chair design?

That’s funny. If there were editors on the internet, they might have suggested putting the silencer one last.

Both site and videos look highly interesting. I shall bookmark for thorough perusal.

Even a tynpani has a silencer built in. Fine Dutch Engineering calls for an impedance-matched sliding sprung igniter and a nice wool mallet to hit, then damp the membrane. Nylon-TPS? Gotta put that .1 speaker someplace.

Now I’m off to read Huffman-Computer Interaction at arXiv. Maybe Muffematical Software.
