So how did the snake find its way into the plumbing? He couldn’t have entered through one of the outlets unless there is some way to turn around and exit headfirst, could he?

- Through a different head, to the trunk, to this head to exit, all one direction.
- Through the inlet if the system was disconnected from the supply before this occurred.

No doubt you are right, although it all seems so unlikely. It’s hard to imagine him just wandering in. I suppose he could have been pursuing a frog or something and found him/herself in a pickle.

As a redditor pointed out, snek may have been in the pipe if it was recently installed and no one bothered to check it for blockages.
