I hate how their ages are emphasized over and over. 43 and 50! It’s like they have one foot in the grave instead of the reality, which is they probably have about half of their lives left to live.

TIL that performers don’t get paid for Superbowl Halftime shows. The NFL et al. pay for the production (lights cameras, fireworks, and the crew to work all of it) but the performers do it for free, because the exposure* will bring them increased income in the coming** years.

Football is weird. There’s a women’s league, the LFL (originally the “Lingerie Football League” - I am not kidding).

You’d think this would be massively popular, but it isn’t; ticket prices when it was still ‘Lingerie’ were less than half of a total garbage NFL team.

LFL sounds incredibly seedy right off the bat. What are the odds of seeing exciting football with daring running plays, a surprising throwing game, etc…? Or is it a sexually exploitative event for perverts? That’s the first impression most people are going to have. Would you bring your family to a game?

Even if they do play legit football the market is already pretty saturated between college, the NFL, and XFL. Only real junkies are going to buy tickets to go see some mediocre teams with uninspired play.

Exactly When I was 13 was the time of the first VCR, there were VHS, Betamax and Video 2000 and some local TV channels transmitted some sexy movies after midnight. Sometimes we got hands on prerecorded VHS with more explicit movies.

Interestingly sometimes happened that some pornstars did both hardcore movies and more comedy mode, like Moana Mozzi (here in a SFW clip with nice Italo disco soundtrack) or Ilona Staller.
