What’s weird is that, from outdoor shots, it looks like the store is pretty isolated. The car could have gone either side of the building, and instead it went straight through. The car was also very lucky not to hit the metal support beam, which would have been worse for everyone involved - it probably wouldn’t have brought the ceiling crashing down (probably), but it could have seriously damaged the overall structure, and it would have probably hit the driver harder.
