Comodidad is comfort, yes, but as in “a sofa is comfortable”. What you’re looking for is “consuelo” as “she embraced him, comforting him from his unescapable sadness”.

Agh, I’m conflicted. It seems too easy to me to point and laugh at the hairy and disgusting “fat chick”, especially in a comic that I took to be centered on promoting a positive image of young women. And especially in a comic that I really like!
