Street interviews: what Chinese think of white foreigners

Thank goodness the subtitles were in English, else it would have been all Chinese to me!

A small anecdote: When I was around 10, my grandmother had a cook. The cook was a grandmother in her own family, and then she had another grandson. One day she was crying and when asked why, she said her new grandson was born with golden (hay-like) hair and blue eyes - was he sick?! Will he need a doctor? Was he blind? Will he ever be OK?
I was confused - to me, this was considered beautiful. All my stories told me that (Goldilocks, Enid Blyton). But then, this lady had never ever watched anything except local language TV - so she had never ever seen a blonde person.
