well Coke Zero has 35mg caffeine per can so drinking about eight of those a day should be just as healthy on that front, AND provide additional fluid intake and associated hydration according to my math
I imagine/hope @dpease was joking.
It’s awful how much of that junk so many people drink so copiously.
Rainwater and grain alcohol. Just sayin’.
I suspect that this study may not have good news for me since I was not expecting 2-3 cups from the description “plenty of”.
SACRILEGE
As the truckers back home say, “Son, if you wanted a cup of cream and sugar, why the Hell did you order coffee?” Hot and black, as God intended!
@fuzzyfungus, it don’t matter. You just adjust your definition of “cups.” Mine are about 36 oz, so yeah, that’s about right.
Amen!
I imagine/hope @dpease was joking.
I have a few of these a day.
In addition to the info @smulder provided, diet soda consumption has also been linked to personal excellence.
Let’s see … DDG says a coffee cup measurement is 250mL, which means between the mug I have before I attempt to drive and the travel mug I have on the way to work (and usually for a while after I get here), I’m having 5 cups a day. I realize it’s all relative, but I know people that drink a lot more than that!
I furthermore must speculate on relative strength of coffee. I brew mine kind of strong – almost twice the standard measurement and the “slow brew” setting, but I do use the cheap, commercial grade, “incest coffee,” because most mornings I’m in too much of a rush to get out the door to enjoy the good stuff.
