Like every known disease with the possible exception of Ebola, there is an incubation period. Once the covid-19 virus enters a body, it takes at least a couple of days for the carrier to begin experiencing noticeable symptoms. Considering how many people a normal urban human interacts with during a normal day, we probably have to assume that for every person who feels bad enough to think they may be infected, there are probably 8 or 9 others who are carrying the virus and have not yet started thinking they may be.
How long will it be before this country starts seeing a wave of people who have trailers and motor homes and popup campers heading for the high lonesome?
As I suspected, they’re now saying that this can be transmitted by people who are asymptomatic. We’ll honestly never know the real numbers of infections, but once the death toll starts mounting, the hills are going to look pretty appealing.
