Dreaming of a similar commute to work…
Physics is a doozy.
There really isn’t much of a way around MV=P
Commander: Driver, did we just hit something?
Driver: Just a bump, Sergeant.
Commander: Carry on, then.
“I think you may have a flat there, buddy.”
Truck vs. Tanks was an actual thing, with surprising results.
Cheating!!! They weakend the structural integrity of the car by leaving the trunk open…
I was wondering if that car still had an engine in it.
do they mention it in the st james bible
When I took a British Forces Germany driving test they showed videos of what happened when a tank turns suddenly by reversing the direction of one track.
Mind you the one of what happens when you hit a deer was harrowing.
“Tank at high speed” is what, 30mph?
Wow, the bar for the NHTSA 5-star safety rating just keeps getting higher…
I don’t know what kind of tank this is, but an Abrams has a top speed around 45 mph.
That’s quite a bit of inertia.
Oooohhh, sailcar!
I can imagine what happens to the deer but what happens with the sudden turn? Lots of rolling and tumbling?
British Scorpions are rated at 50mph, but the troops have an unofficial ongoing competition to beat that. It’s been verified up to 70mph on a steep downhill.
i don’t think ive ever seen a tank move that fast.
Military Vehicle = Pwned?
Edit: yeah, I know you were talking about momentum
I’m about 90% sure that the tank is a German Leopard 2, in which case it would top out at at 42 mph (according to wikipedia).
