Teacher resigns after school backs parent complaining he might “teach their child to be gay” with his classroom Pride flag

Centrists are professionals at standing up for nobody, and having no values worth fighting for.

I’ve never wanted to be a school administrator more than I do right now. It would be pretty satisfying to be able to tell these whiny snowflake parents to get stuffed.

“Violent brain trauma” victims, or violent “brain trauma” victims?

It doesn’t matter. A little from column a, a little from column b.

Oh, I don’t actually want to be a school administrator; I’ve just never wanted to be one more than after reading this infuriating story.

That is something that infuriates me about Evangelical arguments for or against just about anything. In order to even understand what the hell they’re talking about, you have to already know what they’re talking about, and preferably largely agree with it. Even if you’re a Catholic or an Episcopalian you won’t really get it, and if you’re not even Christian then you stand no chance. It’s complete circle logic.

So maybe it’s good to not let people default to thinking everyone comes from the exact same Evangelical tradition they do. It’s good for logical reasoning, and it’s good for empathy.

The effect was intentional

OK folks I need some help here. I’ve searched Amazon and other sites but I can find no books that explain the Gay Agenda. Now I’m looking for the instructions on how to teach a kid to be Gay. How would you go about it? If you see someone of your same sex and you get a warm pleasant feeling especially in your crotch, make friends with them. If you see another teen age boy “tent poling” offer to help them out? Is 69 really just 1 more than 68? And that elusive Gay agenda, where do you go beyond accepting other people for who they are whether you agree or not? Why is it that you are strongly encouraged to play with any and all kind of balls except your buddies little fuzzy ones?
My first 8 years of education was provided by Nuns from The Most Precious Blood (gruesome wretches). Among many things we were taught that it would be a great and noble thing to be martyred for our faith but if we were beat to death for being gay we had it coming and would burn in hell. These same sick spineless cowards are still after us. They’re still scared that people different than them might be able to enjoy their lives and they aren’t going to allow that if they can help it. They will gladly destroy a kids life in order to save a soul. Loving my neighbor is getting a bit harder despite some of the progress we have made.
So please folks send along information about the Gay Agenda and maybe Cocksucking 101.I’d like to be on Top of this stuff, not always on the Bottom.

This describes, and also explains, how WV ended up the way it is as well.

Maybe if they made the teams play in the middle of the road, that would be consistent, at least. /s

Now kiss!!

True but the visual and olfactory elements are worth a lot. I would say it’s the little things that count but thats not always the case.

Emphasis on the white.

Look, nobody taught me to be gay, much as I might have appreciated some guidance from the prior generation, but nope—it’s obviously better to let young people to flounder about in denial. (/sarcasm, in case that wasn’t clear.)

They apparently bill themselves as the “Gateway to the Ozarks”, if that tells you anything.

Which is shocking, because they seem to have the only somewhat sane Republican Gov in the country right now.

This is why I wish one district would tell the parents like this who disagree with school policies to home-school their kids instead. The parents should be given a list of all the materials they’ll need and required exams their kids will have to pass in order to avoid being accused of neglect. The district should offer a refund of that year’s school tax money, too. It would probably make national news, and encourage those types of parents to STFU. They have no intention of doing the work.

Saying you have to be middle of the road on human rights is just saying we can infringe your human rights.

Not even sure what middle of the road on politics mean in the USA.

Nah, Justice isn’t the cause for the brain drain. The economy, the political environment and the insular mentality of the majority of the population has seen the whole generation, from even before me (1964), driven out in search of a life that we can call our own. Gov Arch Moore (Sen Shelly Moore Capito’s father) and Sec of State A. James Manchin (father of Joe) ran one of the most corrupt administations in history, and it hasn’t gotten much better since. Beautiful state, but so much damage in the mindset of the people.
