PB Loco had 5 or 6 locations at one point, but shuttered them all a number of years ago to focus on the wholesaling of their peanut butter.
I ate in one once, in WI, had to be 8 years ago? I quite enjoyed the sandwich.
They have since changed their name (in the last 2 years, I think) to PB Krave: http://www.pbcrave.com/
Further research seems to suggest the PB Krave bought some naming rights, as I don’t see any personnel overlap, and the founding of PB Krave overlaps with the existence of PB Loco as a wholesaler.
Here’s a menu from one of the shuttered cafes: http://www.menupix.com/menudirectory/menu.php?id=2404611
Hrm. This article suggests that the PB Loco PB was made in MN from the start: http://djournal.com/news/p-b-loco-gets-new-name-new-menu/
Here are some jars on QVC (“not available at this time”) - http://www.qvc.com/P.B.-Loco-(3)-16oz.-Jars-Gourmet-Flavored-Peanut-Butter.product.L6034.html
That’s about the only place my mother-in-law shops outside of groceries, bakeries, and polish meat markets.
Hrm. PB Loco went out of business in 2010, according to this post on the ALWAYS RELIABLE Yahoo! Answers:
That’s an overlap of operations.
However, a post on the QVC forums (which is my OTHER go-to location for programming advice, after the YouTube comments section), says that PB Loco went out-of-business, and was bought up by PB Crave [sic].
