The Facepalm

From what I read, the pain killers are prescribed by an orthopedist, so it must be that the docs aren’t syncing up, like you posit. Or, since she’s on number 6, maybe she figured, “I got this, no need for prenatal care,” :woman_shrugging:t2:
Either way, totally messed up way to treat her. And the raid thing. That would be traumatic for anyone, let alone some kids home alone. Scary.

They’re homing pigeons aren’t they?

Weather is pretty decent, no heavy rain, but no super heat either, they should be able to recover and come back home just fine.

When I lived in Detroit I drove a late 1908s Pontiac Le Mans. Looked like this:

I can’t even begin to count the number of times I was told to "support American, stop driving that " I mean, walk around the back of it and look at the fscking logo, morons.

That’s an Opel Kadett E series. Kinda cute they called it Le Mans for the US market, but that’s GM for you.

I think it was meant to be a ripoff of the Honda CR-X, which were quite popular at the time:

Nah, it’s the Opel Kadett E, developed in Rüsselsheim. Based on the GM-T Platform.
Although the “Pontiacs” were built at Daewoo plants in South Korea.
Hey, in Brazil it was a Chevrolet! And in the UK, a Vauxhall.

So basically Pontiac couldn’t even rip off one of the more popular cars of the time, but instead went with something few Americans would have known?

Like I said - that’s GM for you.
