This is what happens to codes and regulations when profit is prioritized over safety. My complex is not age restricted, but adding emergency power to the elevators involved a struggle to get approval. Also, the pandemic timeframe for any repairs can be three times longer than before. Parts and qualified technicians are scarce, so project delays, backlogs, and higher costs are to be expected.

Yeah, raising interest rates on consumer lending is not going to curb the corporate greed and price gouging that are masquerading as “inflation”. It will dampen demand for every industry that struggled to survive the pandemic, though. Guess that’s what they want - consumers to stop buying new consumer goods. Not that the entire economy is built on that particular house of cards or anything.

Lost custody to her rapist because she gave her 16 year old daughter a cell phone. What an irresponsible parent! I am certain that the fact that the rapist is a contractor with the local PD has nothing whatsoever to do with why the rape case has not been assigned to a detective, and has not been investigated at all. The outrages just pile up on this one.
