Court documents say he used “force, coercion, or threats of immediate and great bodily injury” to rape the woman in “multiple ways” in a bar bathroom stall.
The victim claims he told her, “I am 6’8”, white, it is all consensual."
According to the police report, officers found the woman hiding behind the bar counter with dirt, blood, and an abrasion on her face.
She apparently told them that the blood was May’s, who was in an altercation earlier in the day.
May ran as a Republican candidate for one of two South Dakota House seats in the 2022 election.
The winning candidates were his mother, incumbent Elizabeth May (R) and Peri Pourier (D).
