Whelp- not expected.

Further, the report finds David allegedly said he would help find individuals to sign their names to a draft op-ed that sought to discredit the survivor, but went unpublished, although he wouldnât sign the document himself. Also, the report indicates David was involved in the discussions about another staffer secretly calling and recording a call between a former staffer and another survivor in a separate effort to smear her.â

Unfortunately, that kind of thing is all too common - even typical - among employers in this country. Public or private, thereâs more upside for underlings to protect their boss than protect victims of abuse.
That needs to change - structurally.

I wish I were surprised, but I think we even had a germ theory denier on BB forums years ago. As I recall they explained that Pasteur recanted germ theory on his death bed, much as Darwin is said to have done with evolution. And as we all know, if the person who came up with something is rumored to have abandoned it right at the moment you stopped being able to ask them about it, you donât need further evidence.
I wonder if they donât buy that lice and fleas can spread from one person to another? Or does it only become implausible when the parasites are smaller, the size of creatures we now know spread so effortlessly that any curious child with a microscope can find them in every puddle of water?

I canât remember (or find) where I saw it, I think yesterday, but someone made the point that Fox News headlines about the Olympics have been to insult the U.S. athletes who donât win gold by calling them âwokeâ but praise the U.S. athletes who do win gold by saying they did it because theyâre the right kind of patriots.
