Nobody says that. As a matter of fact - they say the opposite of that. Other problems don’t go away. You have new problems. But the compelling evidence is that transition saves lives and improves satisfaction with your lives for trans people.

I’m so sick of these detransitioners who made the wrong decision FOR THEM and respond by trying to ban gender affirming care for the rest of us. Like, sorry you made a mistake ma’am, but you’re a tiny minority of people who transition, and for the rest of us it’s life saving. I support detransitioners who genuinely made a mistake. It happens and they deserve to be able to be who they are, but don’t try and take it away from the rest of us. If I lose my care, I’m done.

Yeah, it’s rare and most end up detransitioning due to discrimination but eventually retransition because that’s who they are. This cis-supremacist view that preventing a handful of people from making a mistake is worth thousands of people in misery is so infuriating.
