Iâm gonna guess NOT a drag queen.
Wanna bet there is a red hat at his house? But yeah, letâs keep demonizing LGBTQ folks.
This has been pretty well documented for years. I used to idolize him for his contributions, but the more I learned the less I wanted anything to do with him and his projects.
I was really involved in free software years ago, and itâs not a friendly place to be anything but a white male, which thankfully I appeared to be at the time. I still support the idea that software should be free and readily modifiable, but the behaviour of many of the leaders of the movement, RMS particularly, is reprehensible. It turned me off my involvement and while I do still use a lot of FOSS, the communities are largely toxic dudebro situations.
Beyond the GNU project, itâs also pretty bad. I worked on OpenBSD around the turn of the millennium and got out of it when I realized it was pretty much an old boys club. If you werenât in the club, theyâd belittle you and only grudgingly accept your contributions.
I hate to think of the amount of talent (developing and fully-fledged) thatâs been pushed out of the community by toxic behaviour, and how much further things could be along if it wasnât for that unpleasant environment surrounding so many FOSS projects.
Itâs been known for a while in some circles that RMS is like a lighthouse: you want to know where he is at all times, so that you can be sure to stay far, far away from him.
Yeah, thatâs super-fucked up, but seems true. Which sucks, given how important such FOSS principles actually are.
Penn has an endowment of $22 billion. Which is about $916,000,000 per undergraduate.
âItâs not a hate crime, itâs stupidity,â Lewi said.
While I can understand this, also important to note that no one else in the restaurant knew this. Damn, I will never understand how people can be this stupid. âHow was I to know that some folks would take offense at a Nazi SS uniform?â
They have 25 undergraduates? Or is that an old-school British billion?
Did I misplace a decimal point?
I donât know the exact error, but 916m is very close to 1bn, so you donât get many of those in 22bn. Looking up the numbers, 22bn is right, but they have ~24000 undergraduates, so just under 1m each. 1m here, 1m there, soon youâre taking real moneyâŚ
Mitchell said that she then discovered from her own research that baby oil could be used as âa conduitâ for date rape drugs such as GHB or Rohypnol and that it was her âpersonal beliefâ that Diddy had used spiked baby oil to subdue Parham.
AFAIK getting chemicals trough human skin isnât easy thing to do.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Alan posted: âI donât know when Strictly Come Dancing are going to run out of contestant gimmicks. I would not be surprised if they had a AI mechanical robot next year. [sic]â Chris, who is the showâs first blind contestant, replied: âI am sorry my gimmick offends you oh mighty Lord. #YoureTired.â
