Yeah, they’re empty and meaningless… like Elon, heheheheh
The “progressive” take on Tucker Carlson
Looks like The American Prospect’s readers weren’t too thrilled with that article either…
edit:
They even got called out by Jonathan Chait
Kinda hard to decide where to post this:
Sean seemed to me like a type of person made specifically for a post-Trump Washington (brash, ideologically malleable, an outsider who wormed his way inside), while also being a type of creature that had swum this swamp for eons (brash, ideologically malleable, an outsider who wormed his way inside). I figured that one way to understand politics after Trump was to try to understand how Sean ended up at this proverbial poker table — and watch to see whether he ended up winning big or going bust.
Aaaaaand after reading this, I’m taking a break from the interwebs today.
The article, while well-written, covers a person whom I would actively avoid meeting in real life, whose ideological malleability and apparent love of gambling against people like John Fetterman’ simply remind me of all the reasons why I just can’t humor people like Sean McElwee. any more, anywhere.
Life is too short to nod along with someone, even someone who claims to be a Democrat or indeed any other political persuasion, who clearly qualifies for The Gallery of Just Plain Assholes (Part 2).
See you in the future, y’all; or I’ll see you in the pasture.
Now if only someone would leak Utah politicians’ proxy accounts.
Those look like hologram glasses. Under them, he probably has Rob mouths.
I don’t understand. Why are they using the Picture of Dorian Gray to illustrate this article?
Warren, MI is in the Detroit area. There seem to be two focal points for racism in the States: either having to share a community with people of color, or living someplace where you never have any actual IRL experience with people of color.
I’d say this is a step down from wearing a barrel
I’ve had a couple nightmares about forgetting my camera was on.
Masking tape or Post-Its. There is no substitute.
Normally yes, but in Zoom, it’s sometimes on sometimes off, so. Eep!
On/off; doesn’t matter if you keep a sticker over the camera lens.
Right, but I’m often in meetings where I sometimes have the camera off and sometimes need it on (but can turn it off at other times).
I get the tape thing, and usually do that. Me no stoopid, hey.
I have those for several devices. My work laptop hs it built in.
