Men, if you wonder why victims don’t report, this kind of shit is why. Many if not most abusers are very selective about who they abuse, which means that they have a loyal cadre of friends who will rally around and attack anyone who dares accuse. Now imagine being hurt, scared and powerless and knowing that’s what’s in store for you if you say something. The bigger the celebrity you accuse, the more well-connected friends they have.

The grants were significantly lower when I was at university compared to now, but I would’ve been very hard pressed to find money for the ridiculously overpriced textbooks we were required to purchase for each class without it. It was $400-500 per semester in the early 90’s for books, which was the approximate maximum Pell grant back then.
Let’s be honest, her whole purpose is to defund the Dept of Education completely. Allowing the unwashed and unworthy to trample the hallowed halls previously reserved for the deserving few must be stopped. And then that money can be diverted to more tax breaks for the rich!
