Damn near chocked on my coffee reading that quote. The “crime” she’s referring to must be all of her shoplifting, because objective reality indicates Minneapolis is one of the safest large cities in the US.
I should have stated:
“Amateur grifter got caught padding her resume for the trump administration.”
Okay I’m moved in from out of state and yes there’s a bit more crime in Minneapolis but not that much more to be honest. It’s not like you’re rolling into Inglewood in the 90s here. The fact some fellow white folks are just… flakes when it comes to living in a city is just frustrating. Next, she’ll say she was assaulted because her thai food was served properly hot.
Would it be wrong of me to say to her, ‘Bitch please… I am from St. Louis MO.’?
Pfft. Helllo from Detroit, snowflake.
South side of Chicago, represent!
I sincerely hope she goes for “total humiliation at the ballot box”. Thanks to her decisive vote on Mr. I Like Beer, her unnamed Democrat opponent already has a substantial small-donation war chest.
Kapos never learn the lessons of history.
Just a gentle reminder that one thing that sets Chicago/Illinois apart from other places: we DO indict our public officials, and even send them to prison. It’s not like politicians are magically so much more law-abiding elsewhere.
I think it’s more that other places are like “OMG! Corruption in local government! How does this happen!” and Chicago is “You’re adorable.”
Chicago is not shocked and surprised. Chicago sighs and starts indictment proceedings because they know that’s how you deal with it. Frankly, that mindset is needed in more jurisdictions cough federally cough . Chicago is like the detective who doesn’t bother chasing the guy but takes a shortcut and cuts him off saying “Do you really think you are the first person to pull this?”
OMG, I love that!
Conservative Labor ‘Expert’ Wants You to Take Out a Loan to Fund Your Own Paid Leave
With <3% unemployment, it’s more like: “How long would you like me to work here? That long? OK, let’s put my salary in an escrow and see how it goes. I don’t trust that you’ll be in business that long, but I’ll do my best.”
I did a double take on this headline!
Not saying it’s true but, it’s true.
Anti-Choice Apps Are Violating Google and Apple Privacy Standards
Jul 24, 2019, 3:06pm Alys Brooks
A nonpartisan watchdog group argues the apps don’t follow guidelines for templated apps, include extensive tracking, and don’t follow privacy rules laid out by Apple and Google.
A watchdog group has called on Apple and Google to remove apps created by organizations opposed to abortion rights and LGBTQ rights because they misuse personal information, don’t provide privacy policies, and violate the app stores’ basic standards.
If Apple and Google do remove the apps, expect another round of “Big Tech is Suppressing the Right!” (No assholes, just follow the same rules as everyone else.)
Continued drum-beating on the Right to declare Antifa a terrorist organization. This one claims to have a former Antifa “member”. (They use a rigged terrorism definition as the leading question for their survey.)
He claims to have been an Antifa member pre-2013, now the Leadership Institute’s Pacific Regional Coordinator. Seems legit…
Campus Reform (Leadership Institute) is Yet Another student organization run by well-funded old white guys. Annnd, now blocked from my phone’s newsfeed.

IOW, “…Equality looks like oppression.” Again.
