battery acid is synonymous with sulfuric acid.
a relatively easy way to get sulfuric acid is “drain cleaner”.
Really? I am used to thinking of sodium hydroxide as drain cleaner. We used to use it to make soap. NaOH is way worse for tissue damage.

true about the tissue damage although sulfuric acid runs a close second.
when i worked as a professional housekeeper at a ranch/resort i was amazed at some of the products we used for cleaning and such. i personally used a 98% v/v hydrochloric acid solution and a 90% w/v phosphoric acid solution as drain and porcelain cleaners, a use for which they were labeled. after about a month as housekeeping supervisor i made up three ring binders filled with annotated msds pages for every chemical we used which i put in our two chemical storage areas along with the housekeeping office just because with 17 hours of chemistry in college and a couple of semesters making unknown solutions for freshman chemistry labs i knew some of that shit was dangerous.

Phosphoric acid is real gnarly shit. I’m not sure which I’d prefer to have splashed on me, concentrated sulfuric or phosphoric. Probably sulfuric. The phosphoric is liable to ruin your entire skeleton.
