I think someone should carefully explain to Mitch that if Trump goes down, and the Republicans lose the Senate, that even if he keeps his own seat, there’s a chance that that the remaining Republicans will pick someone else as Senate party leader. i.e. it’s not his decision.

On Tuesday, federal prosecutors announced charges against Robert Alvin Justus Jr., 30, and Air Force Staff Sgt. Steve Carrillo, 32, in connection with the May 29 ambush on the federal officers. Carrillo was already in custody for allegedly killing a sheriff’s deputy a week later.
Perfectly normal that so many of these are tied to the military itself.
