Now that is awesome! BLM has trolled the GOP so hard they want to paint a feminist message on the NYC streets!
Judge Drunky.
Annnnd yet another one…
What a wuss.
Dude, it’s an ambassadorship, not a spy mission.
Iceland should refuse to accept his credentials.
Reykjavik is a cushy post. The new embassy is away from most anything threatening so the only thing I can think of is that he is one of those guys who is afraid to go to the grocery store in the US without a gun. I work with one or two these types. It’s sad that we have posted one these assholes to Iceland.
Covid Karma’s gonna get you,
gonna cough you right on the head
The American Embassy in Reykjavík is already the most fortified building in town. They have put concrete blocks on the sidewalk and cameras everywhere. It’s a bit ridiculous when all the other embassies only have flower beds.
But there’s hundreds of thousands of terrorist sheep - jus looking at him!
Maybe he’s mad he was the last pick
I used to make a game of it. The old embassy was in a town house downtown and they had put massive concrete “flower pots” onto the sidewalk. Clearly they weren’t allowed to actually completely block the publicly owned sidewalk so they put up these barely disguised concrete barriers and stationed a security guard at the entrance to glower at people in order to discourage them from using the sidewalk in their own city.
So every time I had to walk past I would approach on the opposite side of the street, then cross the street right before reaching the embassy, cheerfully weave through the concrete barriers and past the guard as closely as possible and then cross the street to the other side again as soon as I was past the building. There’s nothing they could do but glare.
Damn - maybe sit on them and enjoy coffee break with your office crew?
Heh, that would have been a good idea. Of course now they have retreated into a new building behind concrete walls and I also don’t live in Reykjavík anymore.
More like Trump-is-the-culmination, not -inspired, but where else to put this?
Remember Tom Cotton, the “overwhelming force” guy?
