A spokesperson for DeJoy has denied that he ever sought to improperly pressure employees, and did not address allegations that he reimbursed employees.”
Between 2000 and 2014, 124 employees gave a combined total over $1 million. Many of these employees had not donated before they worked at the company and have not done it since leaving. Such reimbursements for campaign donations are allegedly in violation of both North Carolina and federal election laws. -Link

Boris Johnson is drawing up legislation that will override the Brexit withdrawal agreement on Northern Ireland, a move that threatens the collapse of crunch talks which the prime minister has said must be completed within five weeks. Johnson will put an ultimatum to negotiators this week, saying the UK and Europe must agree a post-Brexit trade deal by 15 October or Britain will walk away for good. But progress on the already fragile talks will be threatened by plans revealed on Sunday for the UK government to publish a controversial section of the internal market bill on Wednesday that will intentionally try to unpick parts of the withdrawal agreement signed in January. It will include elements of the special arrangements for Northern Ireland that are legally binding.@

And they knew that the United States had emerged as the dominant great power in the world after World War I. To them, racism had made America great. Plenty of Americans seemed to agree.
Imagine the campaign ad if the dead could endorse candidates. Trumps list of villains would look like the Patreon supporters crawl on Youtube videos. It would roll on for an hour.
