What do these people think will happen? Itโs one thing to know they have the backing of their organisation (which they absolutely do as soon as there is the slightest bit of plausible deniability), itโs something else to invite public scrutiny like that. Now the NYPD has no choice but to suspend them even if they probably really donโt want to.
