I dont understand what the colors mean in this version

It is funny, but I’m thinking the yellow means a closer distance? I looked on the 
but I’m not seeing anything about the tile colors. I do know that my second guess was 530 mi east of solution (83%, 95% and then spot on).
yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong position.

It seems to correlate to distance as a percentage.
Green = 20%. Yellow is 10%, so 32% is represented as
Not super helpful since it tells the percentage anyway
