The guy who said a black man stabbed him because he has a neo-Nazi haircut stabbed himself

But those aren’t deeply serious people. They do get to vote, but they’ve always been that easily misled. Always. It’s why they’re where they are, passively receiving news.

They’re of the 1/3 that will just watch, no matter the outcome.

The irony that a guy who made up a story about being mistaken for a racist turns out to reveal himself to be an actual racist because of that story…

They’ve been doing it virtually - posting random, unrelated videos/pictures and claiming it was Antifa doing something, but also creating fake Antifa social media accounts and posting pictures of battered women with captions like “this is what she gets/got for being a Trump supporter #punchnazis” etc. There have been a spate of those lately, getting traction from right-wing sites that try to pass them off as real Antifa accounts.

Does it say anywhere what kind of knife it was? i.e was it a plain knife, or was it one of the “cool” ones where you’ll hurt yourself if you don’t carefully practice first?

Depending on the length of the hair on the crown, they can be reaaaallly awkward to grow out. I did this with shoulder-length crown hair - all the side-scalp hair poked sideways through the downward-hanging crown hair.

This was around when I started dating my now wife. Bless her, she stayed with me through this…

To me, he looks like the lead singer for Maroon 5.

Dude really shot himself in the foot when he stabbed himself in the hand.

Apparently a nazi haircut involves deep trepanation.

I disagree. I have multiple family members who are highly educated who believed a lot of the total bs that was floated around facebook regarding “her emails”. They are serious. And people like that are dangerous.

What is it that makes people come up with schemes like this?

Recently near where I live, a dude was riding around an ATV on private property, and clotheslined himself on a barbed wire fence. OK, so far, so sorry for the man. It looked like it must have been very painful.

So, of course he decides to report that he was cycling on a very popular public trail and ran into a deliberately set barbed wire trap, walked several kilometres back to the trail head (strangely not meeting any witnesses the whole way), and abandoning his bike, which was stolen by the time he returned for it. So please support his GoFundMe to buy a new one. It was a really expensive bike. Like, the most expensive he could find an MSRP for.

What makes a person think this is a good idea anyway?

So, now the alt-right blogs will issue retractions and use this as a teachable moment?

Outcome not what I was hoping for. Stupid Nazi is still alive.

I have been terrified about this scenario for weeks and think this means it’s about to become reality. Why wouldn’t nazis who are willing to stab themselves for their cause not also be willing to don the identity-protecting garbs of antifa before doing worse?

Good chance, yes. Nobody hates fascists quite like authoritarian socialists, for example.

Some local news on the story with additional pictures.

Interesting tidbit: this location is about a mile from my old house so I know the area well. There is a bike path next to the river nearby which attracts a lot of vagrants and homeless people but this area is not exactly known as a hot-bed of violent anti-fascist activity. It’s a mix of mid/low income minorities and light industrial shops.

If he gets jailed, perhaps he’ll have another stabbing story to report… except true this time.

From being shived in the prison shower.

that’s quite the headline. wouldn’t “neo-nazi attack” normally mean attack by a neo-nazi.

( you wouldn’t say “bear attack was faked” if a person attacked a bear, you’d say “attack on bear was fake” )

it makes a casual reading sound like “someone claimed there was a neo-nazi around, but really there wasn’t.”

guess maybe people aren’t ready to realize that “nazi go home” means “see you later neighbor.”

or am i reading too much into it?
