Ya, but only as part of a balanced diet.
I guess that I did eat them when I was quite young… One of my mom’s favorite stories is about one of the times that I got my stomach pumped: Doc said “you sure have a patriot kid” – red crayon, white glue (the reason for the pump), and blue fur (from my jacket).
