But Trump likely always has his cellphone on him, even in meetings when he’s talking about “secret-squirrel” things. Could an opponent who’s compromised his phone force the phone to silently call the opponent’s number so they could listen in on what’s being discussed? Or could they install a separate recording app and download the recordings it makes of those meetings?
Sure, if the secret-squirrel stuff being discussed is mostly visual (looking at maps) they’d be out of luck normally. But I think Trump is likely (based on descriptions of his previous behavior) to want to hear things rather than read things.
