Excellent news!
Can’t read the article, but immensely curious how it ended up where it was.
It should go to the Smithsonian and be restored and displayed. Or maybe leave it as is, I dunno, what ever they think is best.
That’s weird, I could have sworn I saw it on display at Seattle’s Sci-Fi Museum, along with the original captain’s chair, many years ago. Was there a third model? The one I saw was quite small, hanging up in a rather dimly-lit corner. The museum is now the Museum of Pop Culture and has changed a lot, and though they had a big Star Trek exhibit when I was last there, I don’t recall seeing that little TOS Enterprise again.
Im assuming its this model. Am i wrong?
Now with droopy warp engine nacelles.
