On a similar note, Michael Keaton is reprising his role as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the new Flash movie.

For a long time the speculation was that Keaton would be playing Thomas Wayne, who became an older, more murdery version of Batman after his young son Bruce was killed in the DC “Flashpoint” story arc.

Which at least would’ve been a little bit more original than yet another Multiverse movie.
