i’m no mathematician but this is like 5 times worse than early smashing pumpkins and like 1000 times better than the smashing pumpkins now.

It’s not the worst thing I’ve heard, but it’s nowhere near the best. I guess a major problem is that of all the SP songs to use, why use an angsty one? The juxtaposition doesn’t work.
