I have a friend who was interested in doing some urban exploring (which I am usually OK with) and he wanted to go down a manhole in Chinatown (I was not OK with that, and he gave me shit for it, but stories like this one are why I keep my urban exploring above ground whenever possible.)

Similar story appeared on Futility Closet and made me feel sick listening to it.

I terribly miss Futility Closet, the day they announced they had to stop the podcast due to health reasons was a dark day.

I feel 100% the same.

Thankfully all the episodes are still up, I sometimes go back and revisit certain favorites.
