A friend of mine from high school saw god when we were both on acid. He explained later that it wasn’t like seeing some entity or singular ‘being’, it was seeing this giant interconnected web of life and existence, from the microscopic to the cosmic, and just knowing “that’s god.” Makes sense.

Some people need drugs to see what’s right in front of their faces all the time.
Sometimes the experience lasts after the drugs are metabolized away, though.

Perhaps god and science are the same thing. People who ignore science are ignoring god’s universe.
DMT has a very…Animistic effect. You definitely feel like you are communicating with external forces and beings… I had a great conversation with a river one time…
